The vision is my priority. Then whatever means, medium, and invented technique it takes in an attempt to render the vision as vividly as it was delivered to me an expert sleeper, specializing in those zones of falling off and waking up. And an avid dreamer, and love to share those images I feel are most universal.

I’m also engaged with the idea of kinetically charging images by repeating them throughout a composition, as well as enmeshing them in a terrain of textural patterns to create gratifying rhythms and reverberations. -- As though every element must be participating in some Grand Dance. With the exception of temporarily captive insects, I don’t use live (or dead) models, or work from photographs. My figures are derived from memory and imagination. And although not so anatomically correct, I feel I get to the spirit of what’s human, or the essence of any living thing, by this, for me, more direct path -- from heart to hand to surface.
